The 2022 BET Awards took place on Sunday evening (June 26) and in addition to the lifetime achievement award, Diddy was joined on stage by a host of other winners.
At the start of Sunday’s ceremony, Doja Cat was the year’s top nominee with six nods, followed by Drake and Ari Lennox with four each – but all three artists went without wins. Who emerged as the night’s biggest winner instead? Well, Bruno Mars accepted the award for album of the year An evening with Silk Sonicwhich songwriter/producer D’Mile took to the stage in place of his overseas musical partner Anderson .Paak, and Silk Sonic also took home the Best Group award.
