‘It’s like the mob, you can’t get out’: Khloe Kardashian assures Tristan Thompson he’ll always be part of the family

Khloe Kardashian compares her family to “the mafia” and on-and-off boyfriend Tristan Thompson in the sixth episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians.

Khloe, 37, and Thompson, 31, have been dating off and on since 2016 and share four-year-old daughter True Thompson.

While the couple were thought to have split in June 2021, in the fourth episode Khloe revealed that she and Tristan were back together… just months before it was revealed he was cheating on her AGAIN and with personal trainer Maralee Nichols a THIRD child who was uncovered in a paternity lawsuit in December 2021.

In the episode titled This Is a Life Or Death Situation, Khloe and Tristan went to Kim’s house to work out at her gym since Khloe’s house is still under construction.

“Kim has been sharing her gym with me for a little over a year and a half now so God bless her,” she said in the confession.

She adds that the gym is her and Tristan’s “happy place” and they motivate each other and just having fun at the gym, it’s great.”

After hanging out with Kim and Kanye and their kids for a bit, Khloe and Tristan are heading back to the gym when Khloe asks him a question that she wants him to answer “as honestly as you want.”

“Isn’t that the utmost – either a person would say, ‘What an amazing family where you just have everyone around you all the time?’ Or you’re wondering, ‘How does this family keep all these guys around? “Once you’re in, it’s like the mob. You can’t go out,” Khloe asked.

Tristan said, ‘It’s like blood in, blood out, right?’ As Khloe says in the confession, they have a “strong, loyal vibe in our family.”

“We’re great co-parents, we’re great at blending families, we learned that from my mom and dad,” she added in the confession.

Adding that that’s how they were raised, she added that her dad and stepdad played golf together twice a week, while Tristan admitted, “Yeah, that doesn’t happen anywhere else but in your boys family. Usually the father and stepfather get hit with a golf club.

Khloe added, “Like Scott, she never leaves. Kanye never leaves. Looks like you’re never leaving. We are all here, forever.”

“No, no, more like you’ll never leave me,” Tristan said, as Khloe said, “Oh, ok. We’re a family, whether you like it or not. But I think it’s such a beautiful thing.’

What Khloe doesn’t know while filming this episode is that Nichols filed a paternity suit against Thompson in June 2021, although it was not publicly reported until December 2021.

Nichols had claimed that their child – who was born in December 2021 – was conceived on Tristan’s 30th birthday on March 13.

The NBA player flew to Houston with his team – the Boston Celtics – on the 13th for a game against the Houston Rockets on the 14th, with the child reportedly being conceived that night.

Thompson had known about Nichols’ pregnancy, with lyrics revealed revealing he had offered her $75,000 to keep quiet about the pregnancy.

A paternity test confirmed Thompson was the father, his third child along with three-year-old daughter True with Khloe and five-year-old son Prince with ex Jordan Craig.

In early December, it was reported that Khloe and Tristan “have been separated for a while and things are fine between them.”

During her practice for the episode, Khloe also asks Tristan about an incident at one of his games where he kicked out a fan who was talking trash about Khloe.

He admits what the fan said “was addressed to you” and she asks what he said, as Khloe adds that she saw a report of it online, but he didn’t have any details, Khloe admits that she is “curious” about the details.«

“Whatever you know is just stuff from the past and whatever your past is what it is,” Tristan tried to explain, but Khloe pressed for more specifics.

“I don’t know exactly how she from… she talks to different basketball players and you’re just the next one,” Tristan explained.

“I said, ‘Listen man, enjoy playing with your girl because she’s coming over here to see me,’ Tristan added while Khloe laughed.

“Okay, he called me a whore and said I date basketball players. I had six friends. Three of them were in the NBA,” Khloe said, referring to Tristan and exes Lamar Odom and James Harden.

Tristan said, “You’re not going to keep talking about my family like that, so I got his ass out of there.”

Khloe says Tristan is “very protective” of the family, which Khloe calls “really cute.”

They are joined by Kim – dressed head-to-toe in a super baggy white robe, along with her youngest children Psalm and Chicago, with Kanye West to take them to school when Kim decides to play a little prank on the apparently easy-going – Scared Tristan.

Kim holds out a small wooden box and gives it to Tristan, but Tristan is immediately skeptical and jumps back.

‘Is something alive in there?’ Tristan asks while Kim laughs and says, “No, what a weirdo” before handing him the box, but it’s still not sold.

‘It’s shaking!’ says Tristan, handing the box back to Kim and telling her to open it, but Kim says, “I swear Bible, there’s nothing alive in there.” My God, why should I give you anything alive?’

Slightly reassured, Tristan takes the box back when Kim says, “Open it, freak,” which he eventually does as a fake spider pops out, startling Tristan while Kim starts laughing.

“I knew it was something! You got me, you got me,” Tristan says as Kanye plays with the box, where a fake spider will appear if you move the wooden latch back, while Tristan yells “Fearless over here” at Kanye.
