One Tree Hill alum James Lafferty ties the knot with The Royals star Alexandra Park at a Hawaiian wedding
More than a year and a half after announcing their engagement, James Lafferty has married Alexandra Park on the Hawaiian island of Oahu.
A friend of Royals actress Hatty Preston confirmed the couple’s nuptials by posting an Instagram slideshow on Thursday, captured during the wedding reception earlier in the week.
“Our Parky got Lafferty’d,” the actress captioned the photos from the wedding, which included one of Park’s grueling moves on the dance floor. “And these are Mario Testino’s official wedding photos.”

For her special day, Park stunned in a strapless white lace dress and mostly wore her dark brown tresses long and flowing.
But her hairstyle was put to the test as she took to the dance floor multiple times, which was captured by Preston.
In the series of hilarious snaps, the bride looked like a young lady rocking out at a concert while the music pumped through the sound system.
She could be seen with her husband and a few guests, enthusiastically raising one arm in the air and using the other to pull her dress up so she wouldn’t trip or fall entirely.

There’s also a photo of the bride who appears to be shedding tears while another friend puts a flower crown on her before the ceremony.
Some of the other attendees at the wedding were Stephen Colletti from One Tree Hill and Tom Austen and Merritt Patterson from The Royals.
The couple began dating in 2015 after meeting on the set of The Royals, where Park played Princess Eleanor for four seasons and Lafferty directed several episodes.
They did their best to keep their romance under wraps until they finally cleaned up and confirmed their relationship about three years later.
He would announce their engagement in September 2020 in an Instagram post with the caption, “She said yes,” alongside a photo of Park’s engagement ring.

Lafferty is best known for his role as Nathan Scott on the WB/CW teen television series One Tree Hill from 2003 to 2012
Along with The Royals, Park has also received recognition in her native Australia for her role on the soap opera Home and Away
2021 the couple teamed up to play husband and wife on the Hulu series Everyone Is Fine, which also starred Colletti.
“We’re very private by choice, but we want to put some love into the show and we want to share our lives with our supporters and fans. We go on the line sometimes to go outside a little bit,” Park explained Us weekly about the decision to keep her personal life as private as possible.
