Before this five-round clash of styles begins, grizzled veteran Neil Magny collides with fast-rising, 170-pound phenom Shavkat Rakhmonov in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 57. Kelleher uses the fence to get up. Foot sweep by Bautista, who avoids another guillotine two minutes later and looks for side control. Deft move to mount, then an instant back take and RNC. Nicely done.

115 lbs.: Vanessa Demopoulos vs. Jinh Yu Frey

Round 1: Frey on the front foot. Low kick attempt. 1-1-2 to the chest. One minute in. Demopoulos Low Kick. Hard 1-2 stitches Demopoulos. Frey tries with a 3:2. Demopoulos leads directly after two minutes. She slips after spinning out of danger. Hard lead on the right. Frey continues to progress and has been outworked so far. Solid combination on the fence. She catches a kick, kicks out Demopoulos’ leg, and then smacks it with a left hand on the way up. Two more minutes.

Frey low kick. Coming up short with her left. A well-timed shot from Demopoulos puts them up front with a minute to work. Frey works his way up, eats a knee. Separation. Double left by Frey. Low-high 2-3. Demopoulos slams her with a straight right hand. close round. 10-9 Demopoulos?

Lap 2: Lead by Demopoulos on the right, 1-2 by Frey. Demopoulos low kick. Frey lands on the left for a long time. Demopoulos shoots, outstretched. One minute in. Heavy combo by Frey. Low kick. Demopoulos shoots, denied. holding on to one leg. knees to the body. Just a minute. More knees. They break up with 10 seconds left and Frey beats her up with big punches. Guess that stole it from her. 10-9 Fri.
