Axel Rose blew up the Russian President Wladimir Putin and committed GUNS N’ ROSES‘ just completed European tour too late FOO FIGHTER drummer Taylor Hawkins. in one Twitter explanation at the end of the hike, axel also thanks GN’R‘s European fans for showing “love and support” to the Ukrainian people who rose dedicated “civil war” at the shows. rose also praised and condemned Ukraine’s “noble and terrible freedom struggle”. Putin‘s government as “an increasingly totalitarian regime run by an uncaring, lying, murderous little man with outdated ambitions and no regard for human life”.
rose wrote: “I want to thank everyone who came out to R shows in Europe!! You were AMAZING!! We hope you had fun and hope to see you again soon!! I would also like to thank everyone in London for being so understanding of the challenges and once again apologize to the fans in Scotland for having to postpone the performance there. Postponing or being forced to cancel are things that are not to be taken lightly, especially with the fans, the scale of the endeavor and all the fans, the cities, the venues, the promoters, the crews and everyone involved is taken very seriously.”
He continued: “I want to say thank you Carrie underwood and her team for coming all the way to the UK for R shows in Tottingham!! YES!!! She’s gorgeous!! AND in this case a REAL lifesaver!! At least one of them could sing!
“It’s just a simple gesture and it’s awkward to deal with the gravity of something like this, but in an effort to show our respect, we’d like to dedicate this tour to our friend Taylor Hawkins. Taylor was a really great guy and always great to see him! He’s been a great and always welcome part of touring over the last few years! This is such a terrible thing and his hearts go out to his family, friends, bandmates and everyone who loves him.
“I also want to thank everyone for showing so much love throughout the tour to the people of Ukraine and their noble and terrible struggle for freedom against an increasingly totalitarian regime run by an uncaring, lying, murderous little man with outdated ambitions and have shown support and no regard for human life.
“Looking forward to seeing everyone in South America!! See you SOON!!!”
