Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander apparently tried to ‘crash’ her third wedding to Sam Asghari on Thursday afternoon.
Officials confirmed to Fox News Digital that Alexander was arrested on “two counts of misdemeanor battery, one count of vandalism and one count of trespassing, in addition to the out-of-county warrant.”
After Alexander made it onto the property, a battery altercation that included vandalism ensued between Alexander and security after he allegedly broke an item worth under $400, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department. Alexander is still in custody and the case is being submitted to the prosecutor’s office.
Alexander, 40, was livestreaming on Instagram when he approached the home and was intercepted by security guards outside their home. Shortly before the incident, Alexander was seen walking through her home, where a security guard appeared to say, “You have to go.”
He replied, “Don’t put your hands on me. Please don’t put your hands on me.”
Alexander then asked, “Hey, where’s Britney?”

Then he went out of the house and into the tent that had been set up where crews were setting up roses at an altar.
“I’m her first husband. I’m here to crash their wedding,” he said. TMZ captured an image of the incident.
The department confirmed to Fox News Digital that the deputies had responded to a “trespassing in progress” call at Spears’ residence at 2 p.m. and made contact with Alexander.
During the contact, authorities “discovered that Mr. Alexander had an outstanding felony warrant. The warrant was issued outside the county.”
“They arrested him on the warrant and the deputies and investigators are looking into what happened at the residence to determine if there were any criminal violations,” the department added. “Eventually he’ll be committed to Ventura County Jail.”
“Britney is devastated but doesn’t want to let it get her down,” a source told Page Six. “Thankfully everyone is safe and Jason is no longer on the property.”
