Britney Spears' ex Jason Alexander has been away for three years

Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander has been hit by a crime and will have to stay away from her for the next three years, Page Six can confirm.

During Alexander’s arraignment Monday for breaking into Spears’ home on their wedding anniversary last Thursday, the Ventura County District Attorney extended the pop icon’s no-contact order against him.

Guard Richard Eubeler, who “came into contact” with Alexander during the incident, also obtained a restraining order, senior assistant district attorney Erin Meister told Page Six.

Alexander, 40, must stay 100 yards from both Spears, also 40, and Eubeler. Also, he can’t communicate with the two at all β€” meaning no texts, calls, or social media messages.

Alexander pleaded not guilty to trespassing, vandalism and battery, but prosecutors have now also slapped him with criminal stalking charges. Under the protective order, he may not possess any weapons or firearms and must surrender any firearms he may have.

Alexander remains incarcerated and now has $100,000 bail.

Britney Spears has been awarded a three-year restraining order against her ex-husband Jason Alexander.

If Alexander pays bail, there are conditions. In addition to the 100-yard stay-away order, he must report for parole within 24 hours of his release and be monitored with an ankle bracelet by the Ventura County Parole Department.

Spears’ senior attorney, Mathew Rosengart, was present at Alexander’s arraignment and is “personally outraged” by the intrusion last week, a source told Page Six.

However, Rosengart is “very grateful” to the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office for their “professionalism,” he told us in an exclusive statement Monday.

“And for the seriousness with which she is taking the matter, including charging Alexander with a crime,” the former federal prosecutor continues. “This should send a message to anyone out there breaking the law.”

As previously reported, Alexander broke into Spears’ home hours before her wedding to Sam Asghari. A day later, he was ordered to stay at least 100 yards from the Grammy winner and her Thousand Oaks, California, home.

“Fortunately, Alexander is incarcerated and under emergency protection,” Rosengart told us in part last Friday.

The attorney – who helped free Spears from her nearly 14-year conservatorship in November 2021 – added that he “[looking] I look forward to working with law enforcement to ensure Alexander is aggressively pursued and hopefully convicted as it should be.”

While previous reports have suggested that 28-year-old Asghari was also part of the restraining order, Ventura County Assistant District Attorney Erin Meister clarifies, “There appeared to be no direct threat [to Asghari]and the parties did not ask for it.”

According to a copy of the order obtained by Page Six, Alexander Spears’ property “continuously entered” and was told Thursday he was “not welcome”.

Alexander – who live-streamed the invasion on Instagram – was reportedly armed with a knife when he entered the Spears home on their big day, the report also states.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office responded promptly and made the arrest.

Alexander – who was married to Spears for just 55 hours in 2004 – has endured a series of legal setbacks in recent years. He notably violated a protection order and stalked an unidentified woman in December 2021.

He pleaded guilty to those charges in January and was sentenced to nearly a year’s probation.

Alexander was previously arrested in January 2021 for driving under the influence and was re-arrested in August for violating security protocols at an airport.

Despite Alexander’s break-in at Spears’ mansion, she and Asghari happily tied the knot in front of a beaming audience that included Madonna, Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez and Drew Barrymore.

β€œThe crew who literally turned our home into a dream castle was amazing!!! The ceremony was to die for and the party was even better!!!” Spears gushed in an Instagram post on Friday. “So many incredible people came to our wedding and I’m still in shock!!!”
