Johnny Depp’s attorney, Camille Vasquez, has been hailed as a “miracle woman” for helping an elderly man suffering a medical emergency at 40,000 feet.

And Vasquez’s bodyguard got involved by taking off his Apple Watch to check the passenger’s heart rate.

Fortunately, there was also a surgeon on board the plane and they came over to take Vasquez on.

A flight attendant then greeted her “wonder woman” and gave her two bottles of alcohol – Merlot and champagne.

The plane then returned to Los Angeles, where paramedics waited to attend to the passenger.

He is said to have been conscious when the plane landed and rescue workers escorted him off the plane.

Vasquez, 37, has achieved celebrity status of her own since she defended Depp, 59, to victory in the blockbuster defamation trial against Amber Heard, 36.

It comes the day before Depp’s team and Amber Heard’s lawyers meet to negotiate the final details of his $8 million libel win against the actress.

If they don’t reach an agreement tomorrow, Trial Judge Penney Azcarate will return the June 1 jury verdict and Depp and Heard will have to pay each other the ordered damages.

Both celebrities were found to have defamed each other in the June verdict, but the cards fell significantly in Depp’s favour.

He was awarded $10.35 million in damages from Heard, while she was awarded only $2 million in damages by Depp. All told, Heard owed Depp a whopping $8.35 million.

Heard later admitted through her attorney that she couldn’t afford those millions in damages, and a day after the verdict, her attorney said she would appeal the verdict.

However, her opinion on the matter has since been mixed with reports that she plans to write a tell-all book to earn money to pay for the damage.

A source close to Heard claimed she was “broke” and “unable to turn down money.”

They said she considers her career in Hollywood over and has nothing to lose after a disastrous few months.

An attorney for Depp, Benjamin Chew, hinted that a settlement option might be on the table.

Chew said on Good Morning America earlier this month that Depp could agree to waive the damages against Heard if she doesn’t appeal the case.

“We obviously cannot disclose attorney-client communications, but as Mr. Depp testified and as we both made clear in our respective financial statements, Mr. Depp was never about money,” Chew said.

“This was about restoring his reputation and he did that.”
