The world of Star Wars continues to expand through television.
After the smashing box office performance of Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018), Disney decided to slow down production of Star Wars blockbusters, opting instead for a streaming push on its Disney+ platform.
And the lineup of shows on the Disney roster was partially determined during the four-Day 2022 Star Wars Celebration Event at the Anaheim Convention Center, which began Thursday, May 26th Meeting.

The Star Wars Lineup: Disney shared some of its Star Wars lineups for its streaming service, which includes The Mandalorian season 3
First, Ewan McGregor returns in Obi-Wan Kenobi, set 10 years after 2005’s Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
The series debuted on the streaming service on Thursday, May 27 with the first two episodes.
The six-episode season follows Obi-Wan’s life in exile on Tatooine and marks the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin/Darth Vader.
The cast also includes Rupert Friend, Sung Kang, Moses Ingram, Benny Safdie, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Simone Kessell, Vivien Lyra Blair, Flea, Jimmy Smits, Kumail Nanjiani, Marisé Álvarez, Rya Kihlstedt, Indira Varma and O’Shea Jackson jr

Diego Luna reprises his role as rebel spy Cassian Andor in Andor, which will take place five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Created by Tom Gilroy, co-writer of Rogue One and four films in the Bourne franchise, the series follows a cast of characters as a rebel alliance forms against the Galactic Empire. One of these characters is Cassian Andor, a thief-turned-revolutionary and eventually joins the rebellion.
indie wires reports that Genevieve O’Reilly will return as Mon Mothma and will star Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller and Carl Staller.
The premiere of the first two episodes is scheduled for this summer, on August 31st. The remainder of the 12-episode season will be released weekly.
A 12-episode second season is in development and will conclude the series.

There is also the upcoming Tales Of The Jedi anthology series consisting of original animated shorts. According to a report by Deadline, the show will feature stories featuring Jedi from the prequel era.
The only other animated anthology to hit the Disney platform was Star Wars Vision in September 2021.
Tales Of The Jedi is due out sometime this fall.
Young Jedi Adventures is another new Star Wars series on the agenda.
Young Jedi adventures, set during the High Republic era, follow Younglings as they learn the ways of the Force as they trek to become fearless warriors.

Rosario Dawson had the honor of presenting the live-action version of Ahsoka Tano on The Mandalorian.
And now, in a sign that it was a real hit, Dawson’s got her own series, Ahsoka, which will have it Dave Filoni serves as executive producer alongside showrunner Jon Favreau.
Hayden Christensen reprises his role as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. The cast also includes Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ivanna Sakhno and Natasha Liu Bordizzo.
Filming just started in early May 2022, so Ashoka isn’t expected to be released on Disney+ until sometime in 2023.
