Greg Gutfeld: A 'bunch of zeros' has led to Dave Chappelle's Minnesota show being canceled

Happy Thursday everyone. What a great show we have tonight. But we always have a great show, don’t we? It’s as regular as I am after eating seven bran muffins. So this monologue is about risk. There are people who take real risks and others who just pretend. Yes, she is a real Nelson Mandela. Well, more like Nelson from The Simpsons.

However, when we think of risk, we usually think of young, nervous guys who take risks, daredevils, soldiers, SEAL teams, someone who eats a bowl of chili before boarding a five-hour flight. That’s Kat. And the opposite of risk, the old man, the pensioner who sits on the porch sipping Arnold Palmer while he buys gold and silver from William Devane.

But now it’s the other way around, the old are the new young and the young are the new old. The culture of abandonment has created a Benjamin Button effect in relation to the behavior of older generations. The older we get, the more risks we take, and the younger ones are not. Here John Cleese talks humor and risk-taking.

JOHANNES CLEESE: A lot of comedians are sitting there now and when they think of something, anything… “Could I get away with that, I don’t think so-and-so got in trouble or they said that, or she said that.” you see what i mean? And that’s the death of creativity… If you worry about offending people and keep thinking about it, you won’t be very creative. So I think it’s having a disastrous effect.

Monty Python. In the comedy, the older guys battle the safe spacers, whether Cleese or Ricky Gervais, David Spade, Colin Quinn, Nick DiPaolo, Dennis Miller, Rogen, Chappelle, Jim Brewer, you’ll also see JK Rowling, Johnny Rotten, Eric Clapton, John Waters, Van Morrison, these are old folks taking real risks against the group language of Wokeism. And then there’s another guy who’s leading the pack, and who could that be? I hate it when the producers throw that in. Really stop it.

So these old farts take on the mob just like Frankenstein’s monster, except they’re not pitchforks, they’re smartphones. Again, it’s not the young, it’s the old. Maybe it’s the wisdom or maybe the relief factor. But I prefer to call it balls. In the meantime, it’s the boys who, like a bride on her wedding day, have to help themselves as they please.

TWITTER EXPLODES AFTER DAVE CHAPELLE SHOW IS CANCELED IN MINNESOTA: ‘TOTALITARIAN CENSORSHIP’

Last night, a club called First Avenue in Minneapolis canceled Dave Chappelle’s show citing public outcry, meaning they received a stupid letter from a purple-haired gnome with a BMI of 158. The club caved in the face of the lowest-risk nonsense, a change. org petition demanding not to platform “transphobic Dave Chappelle”. The petition reads: “Chapelle has been shown to be dangerous to trans people and First Avenue has a duty to protect the community. Chappelle’s actions support a violent, heteronormative culture and directly violate First Avenue’s code of conduct.”

Well, if that statement was any more crap, it would be the backstage floor at the Westminster Kennel Club. And is Chappelle proven dangerous to trans people? I mean, they’re talking like they just found Caitlyn Jenner’s bones in a crawl space under his house. But Chappelle is dangerous. He speaks his mind.

That’s a real risk these days with the faceless mob. He’s the go-getter unlike everyone signing this petition. Meanwhile, the man who tried to murder him in LA faces misdemeanor charges. But if you think men can give birth, then everything is upside down.

So these delicate daffodils claim they need protection, mimicking real people at real risk, just like AOC in their invisible handcuffs. So why not just skip the damn show? How heavy is this? And even if they did, the only danger they face is that there isn’t enough space for their emotional support dogs.

So let’s be honest, simply claiming that you’re trans or non-binary isn’t risky. It’s not illegal, that’s for sure. You get double the rolls of film and twice the bathrooms and the media embraces you like the new flavor of intersectional ice cream “try our new ginger with nuts”. Young people used to do risky things, now they just write petitions, throw tantrums in public and choose a pronoun for their Twitter bio. They are only strong in a large group wearing a mask and carrying a bike lock. But this petition worked, it booted Chappelle.

According to reports, Dave Chappelle "bullied" Protesters standing outside First Avenue, the Minnesota club originally scheduled to host the comedian Wednesday night but canceled due to backlash around the eleventh hour.

First Avenue explains, “We believe in the diversity of voices and the freedom of artistic expression, but in acknowledging that we lost sight of the impact this would have. We know there are some who will disagree with this decision; Feel free to send us feedback.” All right, so here’s some feedback. I hope your club goes down like one of Ted Kennedy’s dates. Yes. Yes. They only believe in freedom of speech when Patton Oswald plays there and puts everyone to sleep So that’s my theory, the old have become young and the young have become old, feels like the right time for a skit.

While the young prefer security, the old take risks. They enjoy saying whatever they want. Larry Kudlow just asked me to go kite flying naked again. Now the elderly may have less to lose or a lot more money. Or maybe it’s just hard to be afraid of a man with —-.

Young people, on the other hand, demand security and conformity. Do you remember this famous picture? White BLM protesters surrounded a woman at brunch and demanded that she raise her fist. This is as conformist and risk-free as it gets. And that’s a lot of people these days who embrace the opposite of risk, which is might makes right. Why are they joining the mob? Maybe they’re scared of being hit on by the mob or they’re just doing what they think is popular. Like anyone pretending to like NPR, or maybe they like the power and the attention, or maybe they suck. It used to be said “those who cannot teach”. Now it’s: “Those who can’t, quit those who can.”

However, it is obvious that they never make these public demands one-on-one. It’s always in packs because numbers provide security, even if those numbers are a bunch of zeros.
