Singer Britney Spears is now a married woman and it seems she needs a bigger home for the growing family she plans to start!
Last week, the “Gimme More” singer tied the knot Sam Asgari at a wedding that looked like something out of a fairy tale. While the pair didn’t appear to be honeymooning, they don’t have to be either — the two have lived year-round, taking tropical trips to Maui, Mexico and even Las Vegas.

Britney Spears is buying a house in the same neighborhood as her ex Kevin Federline
According to TMZ, Britney and Sam are all ready to move into their new home after Brit paid $11.8 million for a mansion in Calabasas. The 11,650-square-foot home is in the same neighborhood as her ex-husband. Kevin Federlineand their two teenage sons: Sean and Jayden.
It appears K-Fed was not notified of the move beforehand, as a source told the outlet that “Kevin was surprised that of all the neighborhoods she can afford to move to, she chose his.”
The source added, “As long as his peace and tranquility isn’t affected by this, she has more power.”
Britney’s white car was spotted in the driveway of the new home along with some moving trucks, so it looks like they’re ready to start married life as soon as possible.
The house is said to have 4 acres of land with a huge pool and water slide. There’s also a huge kitchen, home theater, and gift-wrapping room.
K-Fed isn’t the only one living in the area. The other newlyweds Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker also live there now. Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey also lived there before moving to Beverly Hills.
TMZ reported that Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles stars Josh and Matt Altman of Douglas Elliman and Todd Bernstein of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage handled the sale of the new property.
Britney Spears has wanted to move for a long time
Britney announced her intention to move in February. In an Instagram video, Britney said she was moving for the first time in seven years.
In the caption, Britney wrote, “So this is the view from my room…it’s quite spectacular 😍🌤!!!!”
However, she admitted that “I’ve lived in this house for 7 years and I’m in the process of buying a new home 🏡…it’s time for a change!!!!”
“I was pretty modest about the house I live in now!!!!” she added. “I know you guys saw me dancing in my living room… but honestly I have 3 living rooms 😂🤷🏼♀️😜!!!! Maybe one day I’ll give you guys a tour but until then here’s the pink sky 💋💋💋 !!!”
Brit said she was in the process of buying a house at the time, so it seems like she’s already set her sights on that house again.
Back in March, Drake put his lavish Hidden Hills estate on the market and witnesses told TMZ they saw plenty of celebrity buyers expressing interest – including Britney and Sam.
The property had its own private recording studio, so fans had their fingers crossed that it was a sign that Britney was back to exploring new music. As if that wasn’t enough, the “YOLO estate” included six fireplaces, a wine cellar, a tasting room and a cinema that seats 25 people.
Is there bad blood between Britney and Kevin?
While it makes sense that Britney would want to be closer to her kids, The Blast previously reported that Britney may have had bad blood with K-Fed after accusing him of not being there for her during her pregnancy.
In April, Britney wrote in a quickly deleted post: “My ex husband didn’t want to see me when I flew to New York with a baby inside me and Las Vegas when he was filming a video!!! And when my brother’s best friend showed up to support a heavily pregnant woman in Vegas because he felt and acted up talking and eating ice cream all night.”
“Since I hadn’t seen him in a while, I already knew it was over,” Britney continued. “I had my baby and I’ve literally dated Paris twice [Hilton] and it was all over the news like I was a party girl.”
“Anyway… it’s over now and I’ve made my peace with it,” Britney concluded.
Kevin Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, was quick to label Britney Spears’ post as “fake,” according to TMZ. Kaplan said Britney’s version of events “is the complete opposite of what is true. She knows that.”
He warned, “She should be very careful about engaging in dialogue based on the Revisionist story.” He added, “This story about Kevin in Las Vegas and Britney is completely false, and [Kevin is] I will not stand idly by and allow this story to tarnish what he did and how he supported them at the time.”
Apparently Kevin hasn’t lost his sleep over Britney’s new relationship. “But when she starts talking about how things were when Jayden and Preston were toddlers, that’s completely fabricated,” added Kaplan. “Kevin will not let this rest and let this be the statement of fact.”
