Kim Kardashian has been counting down the days to be reunited with boyfriend Pete Davidson.
The 28-year-old actress first met the 41-year-old reality star when she guest-starred and hosted Saturday Night Live in October 2021.
The comedian was abroad in Australia filming his latest film, titled Wizards! A source told People that the TV personality is over the moon that he will be returning to the United States as production on the project wraps up.

The two lovebirds reunited briefly last month in July when Kim visited Pete overseas while he was attending Wizards! which also stars Orlando Bloom and Naomi Scott.
A source close to the pair told People: “Kim loved visiting Pete in Australia in July. They were separated for several weeks and enjoyed a long weekend together.’
On a positive note for the media influencer, filming wraps up this month in August, meaning they won’t have to be apart for much longer. But Pete will still be busy when he gets home.
“Pete is still filming but will be finished now in August. However, he has another project in the US, so he will remain busy.’

Despite Pete having a busy schedule, the source explained that the beauty is “just excited that he’ll be back in the States soon.”
Although the happy lovebirds were momentarily apart, their seriousness about their relationship never diminished.
“The long distance wasn’t easy for Kim but they make it work. You are still very happy. They are a very serious couple,” the insider added to the publication.

Long distance calls can be difficult, but Kim and Pete kept their romance alive by writing letters, Us Weekly reported.
A source told the tabloid that while the couple are on opposite sides of the world and in different “time zones,” they are still “in constant communication.”
“They send each other love letters while the other sleeps and FaceTime whenever their schedules match,” the insider explained.
The savvy businesswoman and the SNL star are still “very much in love with each other and can’t wait until they’re back in the same place.”

Kim was notably married to rapper Kanye West, aka Ye, but the reality star filed for divorce in February 2021. They share four children, North, Chicago, Psalm and Saint.
In early March this year, their divorce was finalized and the hard-working star was declared legally single.
The SKIMS founder and the comedian happened to cross paths when she was a celebrity guest star on an episode of Saturday Night Live in October 2021, months after Kim filed for divorce.
According to Us Weekly, Pete was immediately struck by the beauty. “He was a real pro throughout rehearsals and between takes, but after that it got flirtatious,” says a source.
“They exchanged numbers and Pete asked if Kim would like to hang out with her sometime, which she immediately said yes to.”
