Maralee, who gave birth to Tristan’s third child in December, had previously slammed the NBA player for allegedly doing “nothing” to support her little boy.
Back in December, personal trainer Maralee Nichols welcomed a little boy with NBA player Tristan Thompson.
As you may recall, the news came as a huge shock to fans as Tristan was in a relationship with his girlfriend Khloé Kardashian at the time.

And though he spent weeks denying that Maralee’s child was his when she sued him for child support and pregnancy-related expenses, Tristan finally conceded he was in fact the father after taking a DNA test.
Additionally, leaked messages between Tristan and Maralee during the chaotic legal battle appeared to show that the athlete told her he would have “zero involvement” in raising the baby.

“Won’t be involved at all,” Tristan reportedly wrote to Maralee. “All you’ll have is a baby with a father who won’t take care of the child and a few hundred dollars a month in child support.” Tristan denied that the messages were legitimate, claiming that they were sent by Maralee ” had been invented.

But as we know, Maralee gave birth to baby boy Theo regardless of Tristan’s attitude and has since shared regular updates on her Instagram page charting the baby’s growth.
“Words cannot express how much I love you, being your mom is my greatest blessing. You are my world,” she wrote alongside a picture of herself holding Theo back in May.
“I can’t believe my baby is 6 months old,” she wrote in June, noting that it was “Theo’s first time at the zoo.”
But now, in her latest Instagram post, some people are convinced Maralee threw a little shade at Tristan as she made another reference to her status as caregiver for her little boy.
“Theo’s mother,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself.
The post was quickly flooded with comments praising Maralee for her dedication to raising Theo alone, and fans dubbed her his “mom and dad rolled into one” while denouncing Tristan.
“Theo’s mom and dad,” one person wrote. “Theo’s mom AND dad rolled into one,” echoed another.
“Do a great job Mom!” one user wrote, with another following him and commenting: “Theo’s mum and dad – he’s got you that’s all that matters queen! Keep up the good work with your mother.”
Meanwhile, several users questioned Tristan’s involvement in Theo’s life, seemingly referencing Maralee’s recent claim that he made no attempt to meet the little boy.

“Where’s Theo’s father?” one person asked. “Did Tristan try to see Theo?” wrote another.
Back in February, Maralee went on record through a representative to claim Tristan “did nothing” to support her child. “Despite media reports to the contrary, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support his son,” her spokeswoman said.

“He has not attempted to meet her son, nor has he provided any financial support,” they added. Tristan did not publicly address Maralee’s claims, and his reps did not respond to BuzzFeed News’ request for comment at the time.
And while he’s avoided publicly mentioning Maralee or Theo aside from his first Instagram statement confirming his paternity, Tristan has also been completely silent about a major recent scandal involving him and ex Khloé.
It was announced last week that Tristan and Khloé will welcome their second child, conceived in November, via surrogate in the coming weeks.
Khloé’s rep confirmed the news in a statement sent to multiple outlets, while sources claimed the reality star has been keeping things under wraps “to protect her mental health from public judgment as a result of Tristan’s actions.”
And while Khloé has kept a low profile for days, Tristan has seemingly resumed his normal life as he was filmed partying in Mykonos, Greece over the weekend.
Additionally, Tristan was spotted holding hands with a mystery woman he reportedly met at a nightclub before flaunting the lavish vacation on his Instagram story.
As a result, the basketball player was slammed by fans who questioned why he wasn’t in LA with Khloé and her 4-year-old daughter True before the birth of their second child.
“He’s out here in Greece with a very different woman while expecting a child,” one Twitter user wrote, while another expressed outrage at Tristan frequent public disregard by Khloe.
