Despite breaking through at this winter’s Screen Actors Guild Awards and forecasters predicting it would garner multiple nominations, yellowstone was excluded from the 2022 Emmy Awards nominations and didn’t receive a single nod, even for acclaimed stars Kevin Costner and Kelly Reilly.

Other series that didn’t receive an Emmy nomination this year, contrary to what the award experts had predicted, include: The Afterparty, Better Things, Ghosts, Grace and Frankie, Reservation Dogs, We Own This City, WeCrashed and Sex and the City follow up And just like that (The Original Series was an Emmy Favorite).

And on the other hand while stranger things received a string of nods, none of its performers have been nominated for acting awards, including Millie Bobby Brown and Sadie Sink, with Twitter users citing the latter as a major snub.

On the late-night front, Amber Ruffin has not been nominated for variety sketch series or for her work on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Other late-night shows that surprisingly weren’t nominated this year include Full Frontal, The Late Late Show, Realtime with Bill Maher and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
