After two years of cancellation due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, San Diego Comic-Con returns this year in full force with a sizable stack of announcements, trailer drops and early showings of some of the entertainment industry’s most hyped projects.

While there’s almost no way to see absolutely everything that’s happening during this year’s SDCC, knowing where and when some of the convention’s biggest panels are happening is a solid way to make the most of your time when you’re at the con -Floor are (or simply participate from home). Here are the biggest SDCC 2022 film and TV panels for news-hungry fans to keep an eye on.


Thursday 21st July

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (12:00 p.m. PT to 1:00 p.m. PT, Hall H)

The cast and filmmakers of Paramount’s upcoming Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves will descend on Hall H on Thursday afternoon to give panelists a first look at the live-action fantasy-adventure epic based on the legendary RPG. In addition to revealing more about honor among thieves Ahead of the March 3, 2023 release, Paramount Pictures and production partner eOne are also hosting one dungeons-Themed tavern experience that as of now may only be accessible by waiting in the standby queue.

Marvel’s moon girl and devil dinosaurs (2:15 p.m. PT to 3:15 p.m. PT, Room 6BCF)

Given the big twist that ended Mrs Miracle‘s finale, it’s likely that Disney Plus’ is imminent Moon Maiden and Devil Dinosaur animated The series will feature some novel changes to its heroine, Lunella Lafayette, a character whose origin story is similar to Kamala Khan in the comics. What happened if…? was just the beginning of Marvel Studios’ major foray into animation and the series’ second season, along with new shows like X Men ’97 and Marvel zombies, will engage with Department Head Brad Winderbaum and Head of Visual Development Ryan Meinerding. Given how long the panel is and that this is the first time the studio has returned to SDCC in years, there’s a chance that more new animated projects will be announced ahead of the weekend’s live-action news .

For those interested in seeing some of the series ahead of their July 29 premiere, there will also be a screening at 7:00 p.m. PT at the Rooftop Cinema Club Embarcadero, Manchester Grand Hyatt.

Warner Bros. theatrical performance (10:15 a.m. PT to 11:15 p.m. PT, Hall H)

Dwayne Johnson, Zachary Levi and a host of surprise guests headline the production studio’s grand showcase of its upcoming theatrical projects, such as: Black Adam and Shazam! wrath of the gods. Although the Warner Bros. have planned panels for both Aquaman and the lost kingdom, with Jason Momoa and Amber Heard, and The Lightning, starring Ezra Miller have been cancelled, there’s a chance footage from those films will also be shown here.

Tuca & Berti season 3 (11:15 a.m. PT to 12:15 p.m. PT, Indigo Ballroom)

The simpsons (11:20 p.m. PT to 12:15 p.m. PT, Ballroom 20)

house of the dragon (11:30 a.m. PT to 12:30 p.m. PT, Hall H)

George RR Martin and basically the entire cast and creative team behind HBO game of Thrones precursor house of the dragon will take over Hall H to discuss the upcoming series and its story of the legendary Targaryen family at the height of their power.

American dad! and family Guy (12:30 p.m. PT to 1:45 p.m. PT, Ballroom 20)

Star Trek universe (12:45 p.m. PT to 2:15 p.m. PT, Hall H)

The Stars and Executive Producers of Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Lower Decksand Star Trek: Strange New Worlds come together to talk about the final seasons of their series and what’s next for them all in the popular sci-fi franchise.

The Sandman (2:30 p.m. PT to 3:30 p.m. PT, Hall H)

The Stars and Producers of Neil Gaiman’s Netflix Adaptation The Sandman Sit down to share details and answer questions about the new show.

BRZRKR (3:00 p.m. PT to 4:00 p.m. PT, Hall H)

BRZRKR Co-creators Keanu Reeves and Matt Kindt, along with screenwriter Mattson Tomlin and Boom Studios editor-in-chief Matt Gagnon, will come together to discuss the future of breakout comics and share details about the upcoming film adaptation.

The Orville: New Horizons (3:00 p.m. PT to 3:45 p.m. PT, Ballroom 20)

Theatrical performance by Marvel Studios (5:00 p.m. PT to 6:00 p.m. PT, Hall H)

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige will return to Hall H for the first time since 2019 to share details on several upcoming projects – many of which have already been announced. While it is expected that projects due to be released in the near future, such as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy 3and The wonders discussed in detail, it’s very likely that Feige will also have news to share about unannounced projects that will shape Marvel Studios Phase 5 and beyond.
