Tabitha Brown for Target is the retailer’s latest designer collaboration, but this one differs from previous one-off partnerships. Today is the starting signal for the First Collection, and three more will be released by Spring 2023 in Home, Lifestyle and Entertainment.
The clothing now available focuses on summer wear, offering vibrant, colorful pieces that suit Brown’s personality. There are swimsuits, dresses and shirts, and even a pair of earrings in the shape of Brown’s hair, which she affectionately calls “Donna.”
Brown is no stranger to the fashion world. In a recent TikTok, she said she attended fashion school in 1997 before leaving to pursue her passion for acting. She told her father that one day she would have her own clothing line.
“This [pieces] represents me in so many ways,” Brown said on TikTok. “[The collection] also reminds me of my mum because my mum used to love to dress up.”
