The second major of the 2022 golf season is here, and the sport is looking to make its mark for the remainder of the season. The beauty of the corn surrounds Southern Hills in Tulsa, Oklahoma as the PGA Championship returns to the city for the first time since 2007 loaded field with most of the best golfers in the world.

It’s stacked in such a way that even a few unfortunate absences aren’t felt as the tournament progresses. Not among those in attendance is defending champion Phil Mickelson, who will watch from afar as the rest of the golfing world carries on without him. Tiger Woods will serve it up, although after his performance over the weekend at last month’s Masters, any expectations for a 16th major championship in Tulsa are slim at best.

Rather, it’s 2022 Masters champion Scottie Scheffler who starts as a favorite, with Jordan Spieth entering as one of the key storylines as he begins his sixth attempt at winning the career Grand Slam. Also of note is Rory McIlroy, who recently upped his game as he seeks his first major championship since 2014. Woods, Spieth and McIlroy will be part of one of two highly notable pairings, the other with the top three golfers in the world, as Scheffler plays alongside Jon Rahm and Collin Morikawa.

While attending the PGA Championship can be a lot of fun, seeing golf on the game’s biggest stages is an incredible treat each year. Here at CBS Sports, we’re excited to bring you comprehensive coverage of the PGA Championship this week, with live-action streaming throughout the weekend.

CBS Sports golf anchor Jim Nantz will be leading the action for the 32nd year running while co-hosting coverage from the 18th tower with lead analyst Sir Nick Faldo. Also with Southern Hills for CBS Sports are Ian Baker-Finch, Frank Nobilo, Trevor Immelman, Dottie Pepper, Mark Immelman, Colt Knost and Amanda Renner.

The 104th PGA Championship is the 32nd consecutive broadcast (and 39th overall) by CBS Sports, which this year will deploy approximately 140 cameras and nearly 150 microphones around the course to capture all sights and sounds. Live drone coverage and robotic bunker cameras are among a dozen technological enhancements used throughout the coverage.

Enough talked about it. So you can watch as much PGA Championship as possible throughout the week.
