As previously statedToday is the day of all gaming websites that don’t hate their readers, their country, theirs God, posting as much as possible about unknown indie games as penance for all the triple-a-blah that invades our lives. So read on for another 10 games you’ve never heard of before but will be so glad you did.
Again, these are not recommendations for these games, mainly because most of them aren’t out yet still. But these are games that caught my eye when I received them via email and certainly deserve a spot on your Steam wishlist.

I never knew how badly I wanted a crossbreed fire clock and The long dark until I watched the trailer Arctic Awakening. A first-person narrative adventure set after a plane crash in the Arctic, where you are accompanied only by a seemingly useless hovering AI drone thing. You’re looking for your missing co-pilot and a way to get back home, but something very strange is happening in the area.

Roguelites with frenetic top-down action aren’t few, nor are they far apart, but combining all that violence with bright, happy colors and silly fun is a sure thing. i am not jelly is just so alive! It makes me want to knock down those health bars all the more. Also, the trailer features some great cartoon intros, although, and I don’t want to offend anyone here, they really do look like jelly.
IYou can now get access to an early build by requesting access on Steam.

Don’t be fooled by YouTube which is still up there, this is not a hidden object game for mobile. In fact, it’s a damn good-looking third-person adventure that looks like it’s set in 3D proteus. This is described as a “stealth game” although the trailer doesn’t show much of it. but I love the look of these magic arrows and it seems you will keep upgrading your bow throughout the game.

a 2D survival horror, the machine that BREATHES (as the game unfortunately goes by its name) takes inspiration from both resident Evil and system shock, then presents things through a glittering pixelated world where running away is far more effective than confrontation. I’m intrigued by the scratchiness combined with the puzzles and a game description that ends with “and exists”.

If I gave you fifteen guesses, what Voltair: The Vegan Vampire roughly would be your late sixteenth guess where you came across Action Farming Roguelike.
Voltaire is Dracula’s lastborn and possibly his greatest disappointment, giving up human flesh for…vegetable flesh. So you farm during the day (presumably with a thick hood), but at night you have to fend off your father’s henchmen who want to ruin your plant-based lifestyle.

As the name indicates, PaperKlay is a game of paper and clay. 3D cardboard levels can be rotated to customize play style as you race around a small clay chicken. The whole thing looks absolutely adorable.

Poor Mushi the mushroom is lost and also extremely cute which leaves us no choice but to try to rescue him. This is an open-world platformer aiming for a cozy, wholesome atmosphere, all created by a lone developer. This gliding looks so beautiful and serene, I want to be that little mushroom now.

It’s at the very other end of the healthy spectrum suffer againa game that looks open dreadful. You play a cute bunny who is just desperately trying to get the fuck away from some horrible twisted monsters trapped in mazes of obstacles and forced to run always. It’s an auto runner, you see. But with the sinister tones of knocker, and man-alive, it looks so spooky. Can not Hardly Wait.

You know you can’t walk through a door if your fur isn’t the same color, right? Spring, Away from Rhea is a puzzle about that very experience. The 2D cartoon game aims to offer tricky puzzles but in an inviting way, allowing players to easily undo mistakes.

One of my favorite silliness is when media confuses the author of a work with the star of the work. All these adjustments from The time machine the to water H. G. Wells himself as the man who I look forward to the future. Here, clean Verne: The Form of Fantasy, somehow Jules joins Captain Nemo aboard the Nautilus, and they set off to find Atlantis! Yes!
The game itself looks intriguing, 2D adventure style but with some sort of time rewind mechanic, and it’s right on my wish list.
