PowerWash simulator recently left Early Access on Steam and has come to Xbox via Game Pass. Looking at the recent numbers and charts, more people than ever seem to be stepping into the satisfying world of digital power washing. But while it’s fun and oh-so-satisfying to clear debris with powerful water cannons, it’s not as simple as pointing a hose at the ground and swinging your arm around.

Here are some useful tips and tricks to help you make more money and clean more efficiently PowerWash simulator on Xbox and PC.

Break up large jobs into sections

Breaking down large, time-consuming tasks into smaller chunks with multiple, easy-to-achieve goals is not only a good tip for this video game, it’s also a solid tip that I use consistently in my life. Don’t think of one level as a whole, focus on one big wall, or the porch, or each trash can, or each staircase. Before you know it, you’ll have a dozen smaller areas cleaned and done and almost all of the work done.

Use Dirt Vision

When cleaning, make a habit of pressing the highlight dirt button, which is the tab on PC. We called this mode Dirt Vision, which is a much better name. Regardless of what you call it, this mode brightly highlights all the remaining dirt on a level so you can quickly see how much progress you’ve made. It’s also useful in areas where dirt is blending in with the surroundings or when you’re looking for that last missing patch of dirt.

Climb low or high to clear unreachable dirt

You can quickly fall into a rhythm while playing PowerWash simulator, moves in a left-to-right or back-and-forth pattern. However, take the time to look up and down whatever you are cleaning. You will often discover a whole new hidden and dirty dimension that needs to be cleaned. Also, use any ladders or stepladders provided to access the roof of buildings or high walls.

Missing jobs? Use the in-game checklist

Even after looking up and down or using Dirt Vision, you can still reach a point where an object alludes to your powerful soap and water spray. In this case, do not walk around in despair. Instead, open your in-game tablet and go to the Details submenu, where you’ll find a list of everything that’s dirty or clean in the level. You can even select an object to highlight it in the world so you can quickly find and clean it up.

Focus on the green and yellow nozzles

There are many power wash machines, jets and expansions in this game and it might seem a bit overwhelming at first. But no worry! The first half-dozen jobs or so can be tackled with no upgrades. For jets, rely primarily on yellow and green as they offer the best spread and power ratio. And if something hard can’t be removed, get closer and switch to red for even more cleaning power.

Don’t forget that you can rotate your nozzle

Seriously, this is a very simple but important feature that you should use all the time. Press R to rotate on PC and left trigger on Xbox. Changing the angle of your nozzle and jet can help you clean more efficiently.

save your money

Just like in real life, cash is king in the dirty world of PowerWash simulator. Therefore, savings are key to cleaning larger, more demanding jobs quickly and efficiently. It’s very tempting to buy lots of soap, new upgrades, and gloves once you’ve done your first few jobs and have some cash in your rubber jumpsuit. But wait, in the early hours of the morning PowerWash simulatormoney is tight and instead you should spend wisely what little you have.

Don’t Buy Soaps (Right Now…)

Very early in the game, you’ll likely discover all the different soaps that you can buy for $10 a bottle. They can be useful, but they’re expensive and there’s only a limited amount to buy. So don’t buy any at first.

Upgrade your pressure washer as soon as possible

Instead, save your money and buy a stronger and better pressure washer that will help remove hard-to-clean dirt faster and make short work of most in-game messes. Also, wait until you’ve upgraded the entire tool before buying upgrades for your pressure washer, as upgrades have to be purchased again for each new machine.

Next, buy a length extender

Once you have a new pressure washer, you can save up to buying an extension accessory. This allows you to clean a larger area without having to move as much, as the extension allows your water to retain its power at greater distances, allowing you to clean roofs and tall windows from ground level.

Finally, buy some soap and use it sparingly

While soap is not the most important or useful thing PowerWash simulator, it can sometimes help save time or frustration. Remember that the soap nozzle is not very strong. But it has a large spray radius and the soap will eat away at even the toughest dirt.

Soap is best used when you have a lot of graffiti or stubborn dirt and want to get rid of it quickly. It’s also useful when you can’t reach the last bit of dirt under a car or bench, as you can just flood the area with soap and let it do the job. Just don’t buy soap until you’re in the level and see you need it. Stick with one bottle, too, so you don’t waste money on unnecessary cleaning supplies.

Do small jobs whenever they come up

When playing through Powerwash simulatorIn Career Mode, you’ll occasionally get access to tiny jobs that require you to wash a single dirt bike or car. With a powerful washing machine and the right nozzle, these jobs can be done in minutes and are a great way to rake in some quick bucks.

Don’t look at the sun on xbox

I was playing on Xbox and was lucky not to encounter any crashes, but just to be sure: Don’t look at the sun until the game is patched. you have been warned

Get a friend to make cleaning faster and more fun

powerwash simulator, Like many video games, it’s more fun if you invite a friend to play. The game also supports crossplay on Xbox and PC, including Steam. Splitting work with a friend is a handy way to complete levels faster. And there’s never a dull moment shooting your friends with a pressure washer, knocking them off the roof in the process. Trust me.

Play some music and relax

Load up your favorite streaming platform of choice and put on a laid-back jazz or 80s pop playlist. Whatever works for you. Silent cleaning is fine, but sound cleaning is always better!
