As part of IGN’s Summer Game Fest and Summer of Gaming, the Wholesome Direct took place on June 11, 2022, with around 100 game trailers and announcements related to the “Wholesome Games” trend. We’ve seen games about frogs, cats, bears, witches, and mail delivery – but which of those are coming to Switch, you ask?

Here’s a list of every Wholesome Direct game coming to Nintendo Switch, with brief descriptions of the developers and release windows or dates, if any!
(Note: some of these games are announced only for “console”, or “planned” for console, or simply “planned” for console… but we assumed this would include Switch as well, so be warned that this may not be all the case are destined for Switch!)
Lil Gator game
Explore a lovingly crafted island brimming with areas to discover, make friends and have fun. Each area of the island brings with it unique quests and characters to meet. Glide through the mountaintops and drop by the theater company kids, swing your cane sword through the woods with the prep students, or find the “Cool Kids” down in the Creaklands. With so many more areas to explore, you won’t know who you might encounter!

It’s mail time! As a newly trained mail scout, strap on your backpack, grab those letters, and deliver them across Grumblewood Grove! The woodland creatures eagerly await the sight of your mushroom hat in this cozy cottagecore light platformer adventure!

LumbearJack
in the LumbearJack, players will don Jack the Bear’s bright yellow suspenders as he picks up his trusty ax to reclaim the forest from the greedy EVIL Inc., who pollutes the forest without a single thought for its inhabitants. Jack shreds machines, buildings, and trash (all in the name of recycling) as he works his way through the forest to bring it back.
