Good morning! We start day two with a massive saving on the iPad Air (2020). Here in the UK at Amazon you can save 23% on the 10.9-inch iPad, with prices ranging from £649 to £499 (opens in new tab). While this isn’t the latest iPad Air, it’s still a great tablet at a great price.

This tablet has 64GB of storage and supports both WiFi and cellular, making it perfect for creative creators on the go. You also have the choice between a fresh light green or a beautiful rose gold. Before you head out to bag that discount, though, make sure you’re signed up to Amazon Prime (opens in new tab) (You can sign up for a 30-day free trial if you don’t want to commit) as this is an exclusive members-only offer.

Logitech Crayon

Looking for a stylus for your iPad? We thought we’d see some Prime Day discounts on the Apple Pencil, but while there are some small savings on the Apple White Wand in the UK, there’s no price drop on Amazon in the US. But there’s a saving on our favorite Apple Pencil alternative, the Logitech Crayon, which has been reduced from $69.99 to $62.99 (opens in new tab). Available in orange or grey, it works seamlessly with all iPads in recent years.

There’s also a save in the UK where you can get the Logitech Crayon reduced from $64.99 to £56.25 (opens in new tab). And in the UK, Amazon also has £20 off Apple Pencil 1 (opens in new tab) and £5 off Apple Pencil 2 (opens in new tab).

iPad Prime Day offer

We announced a $100 saving on the 2021 iPad Pro 11 with M1 chip (opens in new tab) earlier, but if you want a bigger screen, Amazon also has $100 off iPad Pro 12.9 (opens in new tab) which was published alongside. The 12.9-inch tablet now starts at $999 for the 128GB configuration. Neither are actually iPad Prime Day deals, so you can take advantage of the discounts even if you’re not an Amazon Prime Day member.

XP-PEN deal

The other alternative to iPad Prime Day deals if you’re looking for a device for drawing and illustration is to consider a drawing tablet. We’re tracking the best Prime Day deals on drawing tablets and there are plenty of good options. Our pick as the best buy for beginners or those starting to experiment with digital art is the XP-Pen Artist Pro 22, which has been reduced by $100 from $499.99 to $399.99 (opens in new tab).

This 22-inch is a fairly large option, but if you want a smaller screen there’s also the $100 excellent Full HD Huion Kamvas 16 – now only $319 (opens in new tab).

Our pick as the UK’s best buy is the XP-Pen Artist 15.6 Pro, which has been reduced by £130 from £399.99 to £269.99.

Surface Pro 8 Prime Day Offer

So what are the alternatives if there are no official iPad Prime Day deals in the US? Well, we’re pretty diehard Apple fans here at Creative Bloq, but even we have to recognize that the competition just keeps getting better. And a very tempting alternative is Microsoft’s Surface Pro 8, which Amazon has reduced in price by up to 25% this Prime Day!

Most of the lowest 8GB RAM configurations are already sold out in the US, but there are still some excellent deals on the higher spec configurations. My pick for Best Buy is the Surface Pro 8 with 16GB RAM and a 256GB SSD, which was reduced by $427 from $1,599.99 to $1,172.99 (opens in new tab). If you need more storage, the same 512GB device is discounted from $1,899.99 to $1,439.99.

There are still some lower-spec options in the UK, with the Surface Pro 8 with 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD reduced by £382.45 from £999 to £616.55 (opens in new tab). That’s more than a third less!

This gives you a premium tablet with top-of-the-line performance and style support, with the added benefit of running Windows – so you can run full-fledged desktop software. This can be a game changer for people who want to use a stylus to edit and draw pictures.

iPad Air Prime Day Offer

As we near the end of the first day of Amazon Prime Day 2022, iPad Prime Day deals remain few and far between. In fact, the only specific iPad Prime Day deal we’ve found on Amazon’s US and UK websites is this: £100-£230 off iPad Air 2020 in the UK.

This deal shouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering a new iPad Air was released just a few months ago, but it’s still a pretty good buy that gives you the chance to get a sleek iPad that’s now available for Excellent performance is only £419. There are savings on configurations and colours, and you can choose from £100 on the entry-level 64GB WiFi model (now £419) to £230 on the 256GB WiFi + Cellular model (now £589 £) save. The 256GB WiFi configuration costs £130 (now £539).

That’s a pretty good savings of up to 26% off the usual retail price, and best of all, the five different color options are still readily available right now.

Don’t forget we’re tracking all sorts of other Apple deals during Prime Day as well as iPad Prime Day deals. You can find the best prices for MacBooks, iMacs, AirPods and Apple Watch as well as iPads in our Apple Prime Day offer overview.

That’s a tidy saving over the powerful 11-inch iPad Pro 2021 model. This is the 128GB Wi-Fi model and comes in Space Gray, but most importantly, you can get this iPad Pro from Amazon at a saving of $100 – it’s lower than $799 to $699 (opens in new tab).

To give you an idea of who this iPad is best for, check out our iPad Pro 11-inch review. In short, this is an amazing piece of kit, but also likely overkill for many users – hence the high price.

A note on the asking price – we also say that $100 was taken from the larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2021) on last year’s Black Friday, but this iPad was still $999. In context, that’s just as big a saving compared to the already cheaper 11-inch version. A decent deal indeed!

So is it an official Prime Day deal (even though it’s on Amazon)?! Um, aaaah, who cares! It’s a great deal on the already affordable 2021 iPad, so we’re happy to promote it.

For some reason iPad deals on Amazon aren’t as widespread in the US as they are in the UK. But that could all change if Prime Day continues. In the meantime, B&H Photo has some great deals on Apple’s tablet, including a $50 rebate on the 2021 11-inch iPad Pro, bringing it down to just $749 (opens in new tab).

This particular model is available in silver, with Apple’s M1 8-core chip, 8-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine, Liquid Retina display, 128GB SSD and 8GB RAM. There is only a limited supply. So if you’re looking for a pro, grab one before they’re all gone.

Kicking off our iPad Prime Day deals is this brilliant deal on Amazon, pushing Apple’s standard iPad down to less than £300 (opens in new tab). If you don’t need a tablet for heavy lifting and just want one for internet and streaming etc, this quality little device more than performs.

This model normally costs £319, which is a bargain in itself, but right now you can get an additional £20 discount, bringing it down to just £299. This isn’t the first time Amazon has offered this deal, and it’s always well received. So if you want one, don’t hesitate as stocks usually fly off the shelves.
