PlayStation Days of Play offers discounts on accessories and games

Sony’s annual Days of Play promotion has started again, offering plenty of quality discounts on PlayStation games and accessories. Limited edition consoles have even been launched at this event in the past, but that now feels like a distant memory – much like simply buying a console without queuing online.

The good news is that you can save on some newer versions, e.g Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, as well as Sony’s first discount on the full range of colorful DualSense controllers. These offers run until June 8th, with some accessory discounts valid until June 11th or after they sell out. Here are some notable ones that are the most worth your money.

Accesories

One product we don’t often see on sale is the Sony Pulse 3D wireless headset for PS5 and PS4. This is Sony’s latest offering of a first-party gaming headset, and you can pick it up for $89.99 from Sony, Best Buy, or Amazon in black or the original white. That’s $10 less than the usual price of $99.99. While there are many great headsets to choose from, this is the most affordable way to get Sony’s 3D audio capability for the PlayStation 5.

Sony Pulse 3D Headset (Black)

Sony’s own wireless gaming headset is designed to showcase the PS5’s 3D audio effect and also works on the PS4. This version matches the midnight black DualSense controller and PS5 console covers.

PlayStation 5 DualSense controllers are also discounted, with a slightly steeper sale now extending to the recently released colors for the first time. The DualSense supports all manner of excellent haptics and unique rumble features for PS5 games that go the extra mile in support, and overall it’s just a great controller – with the small exception of its so-so battery life. You can get your choice of DualSense color for around $59 to $59.99 from retailers like Best Buy, Amazon, and direct from Sony. This saves about $10 on the white, black, and red colors, while saving you $15 on the newer purple, pink, and blue colors. It’s a good time to pick up a colorful DualSense or two of your choice.

PlayStation Store has many digital titles at significant discounts. While there are too many to list, there are some key highlights such as Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga for $47.99 ($12 off), MLB The Show 22 for $39.59 on PS4 or $49.59 on PS5 (each about $20 off), Dying Light 2 Stay Human for $47.99 ($12 off) and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart for $39.89 (about $30 off).

Some retailers are also offering similar discounts on physical copies if you prefer a disc. This includes Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection for $29.99 ($20 off) at Best Buy and Amazon, Sackboy: A great adventure for $29.99 ($30 off) at Best Buy and Amazon and The Nioh Collection for $39.99 ($30 off) on Amazon and direct from Sony.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

With an extensive cast The Skywalker Saga is the final Lego Star Wars Experience that ties all mainline films together The Phantom Menace to The Rise of Skywalker. Just like other entries in the series, the title is brimming with fanservice and lighthearted humor that will appeal to fans of all ages. It even features characters from one-shot movies like Villain One and solo.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift apart

The latest adventure from Insomniac Games in the Ratchet & Clank Series is the funniest entry so far. It’s also the first to launch on PS5, and it’s a showcase for both amazing graphics and fast loading speeds.

With this sale running for two weeks, there may be more game discounts popping up around it to capitalize on the craze. For example even elden ring currently costs $50.99 ($9 off) for the PS5 version at Best Buy. So it’s a good time to start saving on all types of games.
