The Apple TV 4K is available at the best price ever

While Apple completely overlooked tvOS during its WWDC announcements last week, there’s a very good reason why you should consider getting an Apple TV 4K today. The 32GB and 64GB configurations of the Apple TV 4K are reduced to $129.99 and $149.99, respectively – the best price ever on Amazon and Best Buy.

You can also find discounts on the previous (but still very good) generation of Apple’s MacBook Pro with M1-series processors. The 512GB configuration of the 2021 M1 Pro 14-inch MacBook Pro is currently discounted to $1,799.99 at Amazon and Best Buy, just $50 less than the best price we’ve seen for this $1,999.99 laptop to have.

Besides the powerful 10-core M1 Pro processor with 14-core GPU, this laptop also comes with 16GB of RAM and a brilliant 14.2-inch 3024 x 1964 display. For connectivity, this MacBook has three Thunderbolt 4-compatible USB-C ports, an SDXC card slot, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

If you do something with a little more screen real estate and performance, you can also find the 16-inch MacBook Pro for a discount of $2,299 at Best Buy and Amazon instead of the usual $2,499. Just like the smaller version, this is only $50 less than its best-ever price. This 16-inch model shares many of the specs of the 14-inch model, including the same 10-core processor, storage, and connectivity options. However, it does have better battery life, 16 instead of 14 cores in the graphics department, and a higher-resolution 3456 x 2234 display. Read our reviews of the 14 and 16 inch MacBook Pro.

The Apple AirPods Max are currently discounted to $429 on Amazon in their pink and black colors, which is the best-ever price for these headphones. Originally available for a whopping $549, this discount mitigates the steep price tag – one of its biggest issues Those of The Verge Chris Welch had the AirPods Max in his review. While the excellent sound quality and noise-cancelling features make these some of the best out there, there are still caveats. Not only are the AirPods Max heavier than competing over-ear headphones, they also don’t come with a wired listening option, requiring the purchase of a separate $35 cable from Apple instead. Despite these downsides, we still consider Apple’s biggest and only on-ear headphones to be some of the best noise-cancelling headphones you can buy right now.

Our final Apple-centric discount for today is for the second-generation Apple Pencil, which is currently reduced to $99 from its usual price of $129.99 on Amazon. That’s the lowest price we’ve seen for this helpful Apple peripheral that charges when attached magnetically to the side of the latest model iPad Pro (2018 and later), Air (2020 and later) or Mini (model only 2021) is attached. This not only eliminates the need for a Lightning cable to charge the device, but also provides a convenient way to store it away when not in use. The touch-sensitive controls on the flat edge of the Apple Pencil also give you the ability to quickly switch writing tools without having to interrupt your creative flow.

Apple Pencil (second generation)

The second-generation Apple Pencil ditches the cumbersome Lightning connector charging and uses a magnetic mechanism that attaches to the side of the latest iPad Pro, iPad Air, and iPad Mini models. It can also be charged while magnetically attached and supports tap gestures.
