The best iPad deal during Prime Day was the 2020 iPad Air, which sold for $379 ($220 off) at Walmart. But the newer, faster iPad Mini has taken its place with a $100 price drop at Best Buy, bringing it to $399.99. while you are technically You’re getting less tablet for your money – the Mini has an 8.3-inch screen compared to the Air’s 10.9-inch display – it has a slightly faster A15 Bionic chipset than the 2020 Air. It’s too similar in design and features an updated look with smooth, flat edges, a Touch ID-equipped power button, and a USB-C charging port. Read our review.

Apple unveiled the iPad Mini 2021 at its fall hardware event last year, so it’s possible a new version is on the way soon. If the Mini continues to follow the Air’s trajectory, it could mean we’ll see Apple’s M1 chip along with other small changes inside. Here’s what my colleague Dan Seifert thought about how the Air benefited from having the M1 (spoilers: not as much as you might think!).

Apple’s redesigned iPad Mini ditches the home button and opts for a larger edge-to-edge display. It also comes with a faster processor, USB-C support, and a top-mounted power button that acts as a Touch ID sensor.

Walmart has a huge deal on the 2022 version of the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro gaming laptop. Walmart usually costs around $2,000 and has a great configuration that sells for $1,599. It features a 16-inch QHD display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a fast 165Hz refresh rate. It doesn’t disappoint in terms of specs, including the Intel Core i7-12700H processor, the RTX 3070, 16 GB DDR5 RAM and a 1 TB SSD. Read my review of this year’s Intel-based version.

It’s rare that this model is available – let alone on offer at the best price of the season. Compared to other gaming laptops, you’ll have a hard time finding better specs (along with a better typing experience) for your buck.

Elgato’s lineup of products for streamers and video content creators is rarely affordable, but this deal takes one of its slickest gadgets $20 off. The Key Light Mini normally retails for $100, but you can pick it up on Amazon for $79.99. It’s a rectangular, rechargeable light that’ll help you look better on camera, and it goes beyond what most other key lights are capable of.

It offers an adjustable color temperature (from pure white to a more sunset-like orange) as well as many brightness levels. The Key Light Mini has simple controls, and you can make adjustments over Wi-Fi using the Elgato app. Best of all, it’s magnetic, so you don’t necessarily need a tripod mount for it (although it has a tripod socket).
