These Apple TV 4K and Sonos deals end after Father's Day

Start the weekend off with a whopping discount on the latest and fastest iteration of the Apple TV 4K. The 32GB model typically costs $179.99 (it’s typically one of the more expensive streaming devices out there), but you can pick one up for a much cheaper $129.99. This deal was released earlier this week and we can’t get enough of it. If you want to double the internal storage to 64GB, this model is only $20 more for $149.99 instead of $199.99.

This Father’s Day offer ends on June 20th, and it might be a good idea to take advantage of it if you want a fast, feature-packed streaming box for your TV. The Apple TV 4K supports all major streaming services as well as support for games along with Apple’s core services. Compared to the previous model, this 2021 edition features a faster A12 Bionic chipset with an HDMI 2.1 connector that supports high frame rate playback at 4K resolution. Oh, and it includes the much-improved Siri Remote. Check out our review here.

I’ll be posting my review of Samsung’s M8 Smart Monitor next week, but in case you can’t wait that long to make a purchase, Amazon and Best Buy each have $100 off their usual price of $699.99 deducted. For those unaware of the M8’s appeal, this 32-inch 4K panel can serve as both a TV and a USB-C computer monitor. It even has picture-in-picture and split view modes for juggling two types of content and apps at the same time. And thanks to the included webcam, you don’t have to bring your own.

As I mentioned, my review is still a work in progress, but I’m happy to recommend the M8 to people who are totally sold on its two-for-one functionality. It’s not a standout TV, nor is it the best computer monitor you can buy, but at $599.99 it’s a good value.

Samsung M8 Smart Monitor (White)

Samsung’s latest smart monitor, the 32-inch 4K M8, has some pretty cool tricks. It can stream TV and movie streaming apps, run Microsoft Office apps, and more. It comes with a connectable webcam that you can also use to make Google Duo video calls.

Sonos’ Father’s Day sale, which cuts a tidy chunk of the cost of its Roam and Move speakers, ends on Father’s Day itself, so there’s no time left if you want to pick up either one at the best prices ever. Starting with the Roam, it normally costs $179, but you can snag one in the color of your choice for $143.20. That might not seem like a huge discount, but deals on Sonos products don’t usually come along. The Roam can serve as a Bluetooth speaker on the go (or in the shower) or it can be integrated into your Sonos Wi-Fi speaker setup at home. Check out our review.

Sonos Roam

The Sonos Roam is a truly portable Sonos speaker with a durable design built to withstand the elements. It also offers wireless charging and supports AirPlay 2, Alexa and Google Assistant.

The Sonos Move is a significantly larger speaker with a higher price tag. However, it sees an even bigger discount than the Roam. Normally $399, Best Buy is $319.20. This is the model to buy if you’re trying to play music for a big party. Read our review.

SonosMove

The Sonos Move is a large speaker that can be moved around the house or used outside in the garden. It offers powerful sound and full support for countless streaming apps via the Sonos app.

Some other deal highlights to know about:

  • Mark your calendars, PC gamers: the Steam Summer Sale starts on June 23rd and lasts until July 7th. So adjust your budget accordingly and create some disk space. Details can be found here on Valve’s YouTube channel.
  • The rugged (IP65 waterproof) Samsung T7 Shield USB-C external drive with 1TB of storage gets a small but significant discount at Amazon. Normally $159.99, snag one for $134.99.
  • June 20 ends this $50 deal on Sony’s ZV-1 camera, designed for content creators (particularly vloggers). Normally $749.99, it’s $699.99. It’s a modified RX100 that includes a rotating display, microphone cover and hand grip. It’s excellent value for money in many ways, although it’s a shame that it charges via micro-USB.
