We’re less than 24 hours away from the full reveal of AMD’s Ryzen 7000 “Zen 4” desktop CPUs and AM5 motherboard platform. According to AMD itself, the reveal will take place on August 29 at 7:00 p.m. ET.

According to press released by AMD, the event will focus on next-gen PC products, mainly the AMD Ryzen 7000 “Zen 4” CPUs, the all-new AM5 platform, and the DDR5 EXPO DRAM, which will play just as big a role as those CPUs themselves. Now there’s some confusion surrounding the event, so we’ll set it straight. The event focuses solely on the specifications, prices and sales start date of the upcoming products. Today AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) announced: “together we move forward_pcs‘, a livestream premiere to unveil the next generation of AMD PC products. Chairman and CEO Dr. Lisa Su, CTO Mark Papermaster and other AMD executives will present details on the latest “Zen 4” architecture, powering the upcoming AMD Ryzen™ processors and the all-new AM5 platform, based on the latest technologies such as DDR5 and PCIe5 . All designed to usher in a new era of powerful desktop PCs.

The show premieres Monday, August 29 at 7:00 p.m. ET on AMD’s YouTube channel. A replay will be available a few hours after the event ends at AMD.com/Ryzen.

According to our previous report, the AMD Ryzen 7000 “Zen 4” desktop CPUs were targeting a September 15 launch, which is also something motherboard vendors have been hinting at, but the dates may have changed and sales have been pushed back until September 27, a full month after the reveal later this month.

Nothing is set in stone right now, but with AMD confirming one of their earlier dates, which we first reported earlier this month, it’s entirely possible that the company will stick with its original launch plan, which would be great for consumers, or they may Start selling today Intel unveils its 13th Gen Raptor Lake desktop CPUs. Only AMD itself can confirm that during the event.

Both September 15th and September 27th were reported first by us. So if AMD decides to proceed with sales on either date, it will be a confirmation of what we have reported.
